Little Chicks is open Monday to Friday from 11:20am to 2:50pm, term time only.
Staff training days are as holiday times.
The number of places in our service is limited by CIW regulations governing the adult/child ratios and by the terms of the registration of the service. Little Chicks are limited to 20 children per day.
The price per session is £12 per child.
Little Chicks payments must be made in advance on specific dates arranged with the supervisor. Booking forms will be sent out every month. Bookings will not be accepted without payments. Payments are not transferable or refundable.
Little Chicks only accept children who are registered to attend the school's Early Years Unit.
A parent/guardian must complete a registration form before a child can be accepted into the service. It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to ensure that the service is informed immediately of a new contact number and/or change of address.
Children who attend Little Chicks will be brought over daily by Little Chicks staff.
Children will not be allowed to leave with older siblings unless requested in writing by parents. If your child will be going to Playmates after school, Little Chicks need to be informed by texting 07881794901.
The Childcare Offer for Wales
Under the Childcare Offer for Wales, you could claim 30 hours of early education and childcare in Wales a week, for up to 48 weeks of the year. It aims to make life a bit easier for parents by offering help with childcare costs.
The Offer has already helped parents from all over Wales to return to work, increase their hours or work more flexibly. Others are taking training opportunities to develop their skills, change their job or even start their own business.
The aim is to give working parents a bit of extra money every month, to spend on the things that are important to their family.
Whatever the Offer means for you and your family, don’t miss out on your share of government help with childcare.
Applications for the Childcare Offer For Wales are open right now across Wales.
