About Us
Little Chicks Nursery Plus is open to nursery pupils between the ages of 3-4 yrs, registered to attend the Early Years Unit at Gwersyllt Community Primary School, Wrexham.
We are open Monday to Friday (term-time only) from 11:20-14:50.
Children are supervised by qualified and experienced staff. The main contacts for Little Chicks are Lead Supervisor, Mrs Wendy Howe and Assistant Supervisor, Mrs Beth Wright.
All children must be registered before they can attend. Places are limited to 20 per day.
We offer a wide range of activities within a fun, relaxed atmosphere, children are encouraged to explore and learn through their play and small focus tasks. Daily activities include sand, water, small world, painting, role play and craft.
Each week we plan activities around a different topic. Some of our favourites are dinosaur week, Chinese New Year, exploring the North Pole and mini beasts.
Outside play is always encouraged when weather permits and we have direct access to an enclosed playground.
At lunchtime children can either bring their own packed lunch from home or purchase a school dinner. We provide a mid-afternoon drink and snack as part of the healthy eating School initiative.
